I was tuning into T Williams on the Deep Teknologi show last Sunday on Rinse FM (I know Rudo I have to get off the Deep Teknologi bit), when midway through the set I caught glimpse of this Jamie Jones remix that I couldn’t help but pull back.
The build up is timed magically. When it comes time for the break down, a simple bassline weaves its way around the wrapping vocal track. It’s scaling, grooveable and highly addicting.
Released back in the summer the Trouble Remix EP also includes a re-work by Chad Valley.
Jamie Jones was named Resident Advisor’s Top DJ for 2011. His mix for Fabric, 117, was released in September.
