As one year draws to a close, and another waits just around the corner- it’s important to look back on all that we have accomplished. If LA based label, Hit City U.S.A., follows such a tradition, than they have quite a bit to be proud of this year. Their records found a near permanent home on our turntables with a wonderful and eclectic set of releases, many of which will grab a nice spot on our year-end lists.

Superhumanoids gave us the dreamy EP Parasite Paradise, featuring the wonderfully sweeping single “Malta”. Newcomers to the scene, PAPA quickly grabbed our attention with A Good Woman Is Hard To Find and never let go with songs like “I Am The Lion King” and “Let’s Make You Pregnant”. Princeton released eagerly awaited new material with singles “To The Alps” and “The Electrician” to get us ready for an upcoming album to be released on 2/21/12.
