I implore you to check out the new Beastie Boys two-minute trailer for their short called “Fight For Your Right- Revisited.” The new album Hot Sauce Committee Two is out May 3rd. You’ll be able to find me camping out in front of my local Best Buy the night of May 2nd.
You can search far and wide but, aside from The Marx Brothers, I can guarantee you won’t ever find a more lyrical, intellectually stimulating sack-tap than the Beastie Boys. This trailer should be adequate proof that they don’t intend to give up this prestigious distinction any time soon. I don’t wanna give away too much but it appears that MCA is being played by one Will Ferrell… That may be too much. I can’t help myself.
In in the off chance that you haven’t stopped reading this and started watching already, the always-dapper Ted Danson makes an appearance and there may or may not be more than a few more silly fucks impersonating the Beastie Boys. I can’t really make out anything else other than general chaos and hi-jinx ensue. Just watch. All I know is I can’t wait to see 28 minutes more.
