Girls have always seem to be experts when it comes to relationships. Whether telling the story from their own perspective, or that of a teenage girl, the band has seemed to master angst without being too angsty. While you always see the band talk about relationships, it rarely feels like they are analyzing any relationship of their own. There is a sense of understanding that comes from being an onlooker, and not caught up in the emotional delusion of a situation.
