“It’s Gonna Take An Airplane” is an odd song for me, well, odd in the sense that I really didn’t love it right away. I didn’t love it, but something about it intrigued me. There is something strangely sensual about it, it’s mysterious and a touch quirky. The instrumentation mixes acoustic guitar and nearly-awkward synths that blend together in a way that shouldn’t make sense- but does.
