The Australian group Tame Impala has been surrounded by buzz for a couple of years now, hitting festivals and supporting popular acts like the Black Keys, MGMT, and Yeasayer. In May, they will finally hit us with their debut album InnerSpeaker. For now, we get a stream of the lead single “Solitude is Bliss,” a heavy psychedelic number straight out of the 1960′s with enough of a beach pop groove to bring the summer in early. The song is perfectly recorded with a solid blend of distant vocals, thumping basslines, fuzzy guitars, and a captivating drum beat. Keep an eye out for these guys.
